Born and raised on Long Island LAURA SALZHAUER is a recent graduate with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and self taught photographer.
My major subject is wildlife photography, and I hope my pictures inspire others to appreciate the biodiversity on Earth and support conservation.

Another species of shore bird.

Not sure of the species, they reminded me almost of Piping Plovers (obviously not but they look/act similar).
Anyway, they were really cute little shore birds in Cancun, Mexico!

Some Long Island sea shore birds. Most of these pictures are of Least Sandpipers. One of the pictures with two little birds has one Piping Plover and a Least Sandpiper.
